Description

Mid 20th Century; Original, stamped and tested 14K, Size 11, yellow gold man’s cast onyx and diamond ring with a flat tapered shank and a polished finish. The ring is centered by one raised bezel set, rectangular tablet cut 12 x 10 mm onyx. Stepping down on each side of the onyx, there are three round full-cut diamonds bead set in vertical channels. The diamonds have an estimated total weight of 1.21 ct. The ring has squared, raised solid shoulders and measures 13.07 mm wide at the top and tapers to 2.2 mm wide at the back of the band. The ring sits 6.10 mm of the finger with an open back. The trademark is FACETS. Identified with markings of “14K”. Contains one tablet cabochon standard cut natural black onyx, measuring 11.90 x 10.00 x 2.20mm, (depth est.) black color, (GIA Bl 0/0). Six bead-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring 4.00 – 3.70 x 2.31mm (depth est.), approximate total weight of 6 stones = 1.21ct. One diamond is chipped down the pavilion. Color is H-I, clarity is SI-2 to I-2, and cut is very good. Otherwise, appears to be in very good estate found condition. Total weight of diamonds 1.21ct. Total weight of ring 22.8 grams.
