Description

Mid 20th Century; Original, stamped and tested 14K, Size 11.5, yellow and white gold men’s custom wax and cast diamond ring with a flat tapered shank, and a polished finish. The custom-made ring features a flat rectangular top having three round diamonds set in a white gold diagonal setting across the middle. There are two more round diamonds bead set on the opposite corners (one of these diamonds has a large chip). A single row of five diamond melee is pave set and flanks each side of the center diagonal. One melee is chipped. The estimated total weight of the diamonds is 1.61ct. The white gold settings have a milgrain edge, and the corners are beveled. The ring measures 13.10 mm x 18.29 mm on the top. The back of the ring measures 3.64 mm wide, and the ring has a solid back and sits 4.30 mm off the finger. The trademark is WJ. Identified with markings of “14K”. Contains one bead set round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 3.60 x 3.60 x 1.70mm (depth est.), approximate weight of 0.13ct. Color is I, clarity is I-3, and cut is poor. One bead set round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 3.60 x 3.60 x 1.89mm (depth est.), approximate weight of 0.15ct. Color is I, clarity is SI-2, and cut is good. One bead set round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 4.00 x 4.00 x 2.52mm (depth est.), approximate weight of 0.25ct. Color is J, clarity is I-1, and cut is good. Two bead-set round brilliant-cut diamonds, measuring 5.00 -4.99 x 2.81mm (depth est.), approximate total weight of 2 stones = 0.86ct. Color is K, clarity is I-2, and cut is good. Ten pave set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.00 – 1.70 x 1.11mm (depth est.), approximate total weight 10 stones = 0.23ct. Color is I-J, Clarity is SI-2 to I-2, cut is good. Overall, appears to be in very good estate found condition. Total weight of diamonds is 1.61 ct. Total weight of ring 21.4 grams. Please see photos.
