Late 20th Century; Original, Please see photos. This is a 1993 Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure, WPC (Williams Pinball Controller) solid state wide body pinball machine manufactured by Williams. It can have up to four players, has 2 flippers, 2 ramps, 6 ball multiball, and 12,716 machines were produced. In the pinball community this game is very sought after, over 2,000 registered pinsiders have this game on their wishlist. Starting with the cabinet: everything appears original with no paint touch ups or water damage, the wood feels solid, and the graphics were faded. The backglass appears nice, without any visual cracks or flaking. The iconic revolver shoot rod is working and intact. The pinball legs appear straight and not damaged nor bent. The coin door looks nice without much wear nor dents. Inside the cabinet there is original paperwork including the operations manual, various documents, and few common spare parts. The pinball glass covering the playfield does not have any major visible scratches, cracks, nor chips. The plastic glass holder at the top is chipped on the right side. The playfield is slightly dirty but would clean up nicely. All the plastics, planes, and figures look original with no visible damage. The slingshot plastics at the flippers are slightly deformed from overheating with the light bulbs underneath. The common rubbers around the flipper area were replaced for the game to be playable. The entire playfield needs a shop job: fully disassemble, clean, wax, replace rubbers, replace all lights, and reassemble. The right diverter ramp is loose and missing the spring at the coil. During game play, the majority of the machine functions properly; however, there may be a few minor adjustments or replacements needed for the switches and coils. The DOT matrix screen works fine with no lines out. The display surrounding the screen appears nice and undamaged. The speakers work fine. The electronic boards: Unable to access and visually see these in the backbox. The fliptronic board II controls the flippers and should not expect any major issues because the flippers were working well. The WPC sound board controls sound and speech and should not expect any major issues because callouts and music worked as should during game play. The DOT Matrix Controller Board controls the display screen and it worked well without any issues. The Auxiliary 8-Driver Board controls various things on the playfield: flashers, solenoids, motors and should not expect any major issues because during game play majority of it played as it should. The WPC CPU Board is the brains of the machine, controls the switches, logic, etc. There are 3 batteries on this board that are either dead or removed because during start up the game displays factory settings restored. There is a chance there is battery acid/corrosion/leakage on this board. If there is leakage, it is minimal because the majority of the machine performs as it is supposed to. The Power Driver Board controls general illumination lights, lamp matrix, and majority of the solenoids and do not expect any major issues. During diagnostics testing all except 1 of the solenoids fired (right control gate), lamp matrix and GI lights were working. We encourage all collectors to view this here in our gallery. We encourage all bidders to attend our 3-day in-house gallery event; due to the size and weight of this lot, shipping will be unavailable and the winning bidder must arrange pick up from our gallery within 30 days of auction date.
