Mid 20th Century; Original, Estate found, LeCoultre mens Two Tone Valjoux 72 Chronograph Watch ref. E2645. Case: stainless steel, Dial: Brushed metal with outer tacymetre, singed "TSWISST", Movement: LeCoultre signed Valjoux 72. The watch can wind and set and is running at time of evaluation but does have a broken mainspring. The chronograph function is working as it should. Overall appears to be complete and all original. We encourage all bidders to view and inspect this watch in our gallery. Listed above is a detailed report that has been provided by a trusted watch expert. All online bidders have a bid limit cap. Literature
The LeCoultre E2645 is a vintage chronograph wristwatch from the 1960s, featuring a two-tone case and the famous manual-winding Valjoux 72 movement. The watch was part of a line of chronographs produced primarily for the American market, which explains why the dial was signed simply "LeCoultre," not "Jaeger-LeCoultre".
