Late 20th Century; Original, Estate found, Rolex day date ref. 18078, Lemon Diamond Dial, serial #7329415, with original boxes and dial documentation. Case: 18k yellow gold, ref. 18078, Dial: Diamond lemon dial and champagne dial with Roman outer track, the watch comes with documentation from Bailey Banks and Biddle that shows the diamond dial that is currently fitted on the watch was installed in November of 1985. the original champagne dial is included and is currently stored in a Rolex dial holder, Movement: Rolex cal. 3055, serial #0883208.The watch comes with a wonderful amount of documentation. The watch comes with the original purchase receipt form Bailey Banks and Biddle, the service paperwork from BBB, and a Rolex chronometer paper( number on chronometer paperwork does not match serial on watch). Also included are (2) Rolex manuals, a Rolex leather notepad case, the original 18078 case back sticker, and the original inner/outer boxes. The original Rolex bracelet is marked 8723 on the clasp and 55 on the end links. The watch can wind and set and is running at time of evaluation. the date advances with the quickset function, the day and date advance with hand. The clasp is not closing securely at the time of evaluation. Overall appears to be complete. We encourage all bidders to view and inspect this watch in our gallery.
