19/20th Century; Original, 5.75” height, 3” width, Card titled “From Shakespeare As You Like It Smoke Blackwell’s Durham” with artwork of elderly gentlemen with cloth bag hanging from robe pocket and image of bull in top right background. The bottom of the image is titled “6th Age. With spectacles on nose and bag on side. Literature

The piece ties the famous "All the world's a stage" speech from Shakespeare's As You Like It to Blackwell's Bull Durham smoking tobacco. These cards were produced in various designs, sometimes featuring a pop-up figure coming out of a smoking pipe, You have an original piece of Victorian-era advertising. The "From Shakespeare, Smoke As You Like It, Blackwell's Durham" item is an antique advertising or "trade" card distributed in the late \(19^{th}\) century.

Once payment for the invoice is received, we will have our shipping department package and prepare your items for shipping. That means we automatically prepare items for shipping after payment is collected. We use the address listed on your account for shipping.
