Overall appears complete and all original in very good condition, needs cleaning.

Here at the United States Historical Society, we are deeply aware of the heroes of the Confederacy. We are pleased to offer Stained Glass and Pewter Plates honoring two of the South's greatest heroes: Generals Robert E Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Guild artisans have translated Jack Woodson's original paintings of these outstanding Generals into stunning examples of stained glass art. Up to 17 deep, rich colors are fired into variegated cathedral glass to create each hero's portrait: General Lee is depicted on his beloved horse Traveller, and Stonewall Jackson is shown in front of the barracks at the Virginia Military Institute. After the fired round has cooled, it is then framed in gleaming Jefferson Pewter that has been polished to a mirror finish. These striking stained glass plates are available only from the United States Historical Society. The edition of each is limited to 10,000 numbered and registered plates. The registry number is incised on the plate's pewter rim and recorded in the Society's Archives in Richmond, Virginia.
