1932; Original, 11.5” height, 9” width, (2) Volumes titled “Profitable Talks To Supervisors / Quickest Progress Comes to Him who Learns Most from Others.” Books have letterhead from The American Tobacco Company with image of Indian Chief in top left corner. Beneath the Indian is marked “Cable Address Powhattan Home Office Jersey City N.J.” and addressed to supervisors from “F.L. Fowler mgr Durham Branch / The American Tobacco Company / Pettigrew and Blackwell Sts. Durham N.C.” The letters address many subjects and are marked January to December 1932. Outer covers of books are embossed and have original rivets intact. One book has a typed History of The American Tobacco Company and the other book has a photo copy of a legal document from the American Tobacco Company to American Suppliers Inc. The 1932 Profitables to Supervisors 2-volume set was an internal, confidential management manual created by the American Tobacco Co. It detailed company policies, quotas, sales strategies, and compensation. Because this is a rare piece of corporate ephemera, exact current values depend heavily on the set's physical condition

Bidders are always welcome to pickup at our gallery in lieu of shipping. MAAG will not arrange shipping for oversized items. It is on the bidder to find a courier or pick up at our gallery. Online Bidders: We will add shipping charges to your invoice once we have your shipping cost. Once payment for the invoice is received, we will have our shipping department package and prepare your items for shipping. That means we automatically prepare items for shipping after payment is collected. We use the address listed on your account for shipping.
