Description

Late 19th Century; Original, Frame 30” by 39.25”. Art 22.25” by 31.5”. Oil on canvas. Sailboat moored in marshes. Beautiful, illuminated clouds. Artist signed lower right. Displayed in period gold gilt frame. Has partial paper label and pencil inscription no. 25 81x58 Morganam Fichen Staff. Painting appears to have been cut down and re-stretched. Julius Wentscher (1842–1918) was a German landscape and marine painter known for his realist style, which frequently featured coastal views of Germany's Baltic Sea. He was also known for painting the Courland Spit, a sandy peninsula that stretches from modern-day Lithuania to Russia

Once payment for the invoice is received, we will have our shipping department package and prepare your items for shipping. That means we automatically prepare items for shipping after payment is collected. We use the address listed on your account for shipping.
