1912 - 1916; Original,  Bound book titled “Fatima 1912-1913” featuring over (348) examples displayed in this album. Highlights include numerous Fatima advertisements, including several full-color full-page examples; a beautiful yellow, red, and black 1912 centerfold; newspaper illustrations featuring baseball players, tennis players, golfers, bowling, fishing, beach scenes, Christmas promotional images, automobiles, farming, military subjects, a gentleman on horseback, a man standing with an airplane, Turkish cigarettes, Hollywood, and Scientific American. Also included is a very important September 6, 1913, 10.25" × 7" standing baseball player with bat, No. 2393. Overall condition is good and original with some minor creases and some staining, otherwise very good. Most examples are mounted on pages, and some are loose. Lots 2417-2420 were discovered in South Carolina from a former prominent American tobacco family. These albums all are from the early 20th century and contain advertising, prototypes and illustration artwork of their products.
