Original, 24” diameter, The charger is titled “Genuine Bull Durham Smoking Tobacco  ‘Prize Winners’” with artwork of lady standing on Bull Durham box with bull and Bull Durham tobacco pouch. The reverse has a partial paper label from “Blackwood’s Tobacco Company.” Overall, the charger is in good condition with a very tiny dent top right and needs professional cleaning.  Please view photos. The "Prize Winners" tin charger is a vintage advertising display for Genuine Bull Durham Smoking Tobacco. Produced in the early 20th century, the sign features images of "prize-winning" domestic animals and the iconic Bull Durham mascot. It capitalized on the brand's immense cultural and historical footprint. Manufactured by W.T. Blackwell and Company in Durham, North Carolina, Bull Durham became the most famous tobacco trademark in the world by 1890. The brand is known for some of the most aggressive and successful marketing campaigns in American history.
