Early 20th Century; Original, 18K yellow gold antique dragonfly brooch, with a hinged pin and trombone style locking catch (likely replaced as the catch is newer than the estimated age of the pendant). The dragonfly is silver topped except for the high polished yellow gold legs, and contains bezel set round cabochon ruby eyes, post set double natural pears as the body, and bead set early rose cut diamonds on the wings and tail. Additionally, at the end of each wing is a bezel set round cabochon cut blue sapphire gemstone in a yellow gold bezel.
