Literature

Art Nouveau dragonfly brooches (circa 1895–1915) are iconic, nature-inspired pieces, heavily influenced by Japanese art and Symbolism, often featuring plique-à-jour enamel, diamonds, and pearls set in gold. Mastered by designers like René Lalique and Louis Aucoc, these brooches represent metamorphosis, freedom, and the "femme fatale" through intricate, often hand-fabricated, organic designs
