19th-century Swiss Prismenkanne are, highly collectible, polygonal (often hexagonal or octagonal) pewter wine containers, frequently featuring screw-on lids with ring handles, curved spouts, and ornate engravings, reflecting 18th-century, 19th-century, Swiss, or German craftsmanship. They are known for their distinct, rigid structure and, sometimes, zoomorphic or heraldic decorative details.
